The Toothless Snake

Very rarely, I have a symbolic dream. My subconscious mind is much smarter than my conscious mind when I can remember the dream. And every once in a while, I remember one.

Last night, I dreamt that I was at the zoo at a reptile exhibit. For whatever reason, I put my hand inside a snake cage and it’s mouth engulfed my hand and I screamed hysterically. And then, after I calmed down a moment, I realized that the snake had no teeth and I started laughing. I reached down with my other hand and pulled my hand out of the snake’s mouth.

I continued laughing and made fun of myself saying, “wow! I was really freaked out there for a minute.”

And then, I kept laughing and moved on to the next exhibit.

Today, I woke up and understood what a toothless snake was and how I could easily pull myself out of its mouth.

And, it’s time to move forward.
